Fashion Illustration

 My second assignment for Fashion illustration was based on colored pencil technique, where the blending of the colored pencils are important to create a realistic artwork.  The requirement of this assignment was to look for a fashion editorial that was themed spring. For this I have chosen a model who was holding a some bright orange flowers. The reason I choose this picture is because of the contrast that the flower made in this particular composition.  The trail of this artwork went pretty smoothly, and little to no difficulty occurred.  The above picture shows the progress of my final work. The only difficulty was that it was challenging for me to work on the shirt fabric. He wore a cotton seersucker shirt which made it quite tricky to recreate the texture using colored pencil.
