MARKER

 

For my third assignment i was required to do a marker technique artwork illustration. For this particular task it was required for me to work on a sports related theme. I decide to choose a vibrant green editorial picture for this task and i thus proceeded with my Trial work: 

As you can see from the close ups of this picture, i attempted to work on the face and the outfit of the model. I was quite satisfied on how the green colored sweater turned out, unlike the face of the model.. My lecturer helped mw with the color theory for the skin tone to achieve a better finish. 

As you can see on the above picture, I started working on the face of the model and I made sure to use a single colored marker for the most part and did a layering technique with the help of my lecturer. 

I eventually achieved the desired skin tone and some of the details I added with colored pencil to give in more depth and texture.
